The nightclub was loud until 4am, and the hotel felt haunted with its ghost pictures. The food was so bad I’d rather have had a rotten egg. I wish I hadn’t booked this place made by the devil. Towels and sheets had black marks, and at dinner everyone queued while waiting for forks. The food was bland. WiFi was worse than my hotspot all the way from Morocco to London. Staff were rude, miserable, and lazy, and couldn’t be bothered to give us a bottle of water.

At breakfast, the tables were dirty and food got thrown onto the floor. The selection wasn’t very good either. Our first night, we got two single beds instead of a double. The window was broken and wouldn’t close because the catch was broken. There was a lot of traffic noise and people arguing outside in the early hours. The shower broke, though the DIY guy fixed it. I wouldn’t recommend the place. The photos are of the outside.

It was very cheap, and as a budget hotel it was okay, but the photos were misleading. The place and decor were extremely dated and not very clean. The pool wasn’t suitable for swimming, and I definitely wouldn’t pick this hotel for a family holiday. Breakfast was a mess, with limited choices. When I asked reception to print boarding passes, they wanted 50 dh per page; an internet café charged me 10 dh for both pages. The safe key cost 20 dh per night. I wouldn’t recommend it, even though it was inexpensive.

How does a place this awful belong in such a beautiful city? We should have turned around as soon as we saw the dirty, torn curtains hanging like rags behind the smelly glass and rotting windows. Wouldn’t recommend it.
