The rooftop terrace was a favourite spot to unwind after a day exploring Marrakech. Dar Jaguar is right in the middle of the Medina, yet inside it’s a peaceful break from the bustle. The riad is stunning, full of charm and beautifully decorated, with every corner feeling like a work of art. The team gave us such warm hospitality and excellent service throughout. An unforgettable stay, and one I can’t recommend enough.

The staff created such a beautiful atmosphere with a natural fire, candles and incense, and were attentive throughout. I also really appreciated their tips on local places to eat and spas. My room massage was very good, and the food was beautifully prepared. I stayed in the State of Grace room, which felt completely transporting, especially its sumptuous but earthy golden ensuite bathroom. A unique, lovely Riad, especially for a romantic getaway.

I’ve never had this kind of kindness from hotel staff before. After I left, Fatiha even went out of her way to ship something I needed back to America. The customer service was truly outstanding, and the owner kept in touch through the booking process, answering our questions quickly. Dar Jaguar was the best part of my Morocco trip. The rooms, courtyard and shared spaces were beautifully decorated, and our room felt luxurious, right down to the beautiful bathroom. We got such a nice mint tea on arrival. The location is close to the square for shopping and eating, but far enough away to stay peaceful and quiet. Thank you for a beautiful stay, I highly recommend it.

Kalim and Fatiha took care of everything, from arranging excursions, guided tours, hammam and evenings out to cooking wonderful meals. We had a fantastic banquet with live music and even a fire-eater. The decor at Dar Jaguar blew us away: every room was unique and stunning, and the courtyard was gorgeous. We spent lots of time on the roof relaxing on the couches and even did a rooftop yoga session. The riad rooms were unexpectedly good for my baby’s naps, cool, dark and quiet. When he was awake, he loved following the turtles or playing in the breeze on the roof. I brought seven ladies, one husband and one baby for three nights, and we never had to worry about anything. I can’t recommend DJ enough. Thank you! x
