The room stayed clean with daily cleaning, and it was cool and comfortable, with a fantastic shower and a new air-con unit that worked well. Breakfast was different and plentiful each morning, and the staff were lovely. Lenaick, the Riad's manager and owner, was genuine and made sure we had a good stay. He arranged our airport pickup and drop-off as well as a fun day trip. The location puts you right by Tinsmith Square, with excellent, good-value restaurants and nice views. The souks are easy to reach, but the Riad itself is peaceful. Great value for money. We'll stay here again when we're back in Marrakech :D

Lénaïck met us after the airport transfer arranged by Dar Taliwint. He's the French host and owner, and such a charming, wonderful man. He brought us delicious local sweet mint tea and gave us a simple introduction to the labyrinth of alleyways, so we wouldn't get lost. The Riad has a classic style and has been restored beautifully and sympathetically around an open courtyard. It's filled with Moroccan furniture, lamps, and personal bits and pieces. Upstairs, there's a rooftop terrace with seating, games, and a fabulous city view. Breakfast is freshly made each morning by two lovely women, with coffee, fresh juice, fruit, bread, eggs, and more. Honest and humble, it made a perfect base for exploring the city. We'll be back!

We arrived after midnight, but Lenaick was still up to greet us, having arranged our airport pickup. He even served us delicious mint tea. The service was excellent, and everything looked as good as the pictures. Breakfast was filling, though the beds were only serviceable and not especially comfortable. The riad sits on a quieter alley near Bahia palace, but Medina sights are still very walkable. The alley was well lit in the evening and easy to reach by car, with a car park very close.

The staff clearly love their work. They were so friendly and helpful, and kept the whole Riad tidy and clean. Our room had plenty of blankets and a heater for the cold winter, and the fabulous bathroom came with Moroccan soap and Shampoo d’Argain for us to use. Breakfast each morning was great, with fine homemade jams and a special cheese. Mr. Lénaick was a wonderful host. He told us about the restoration and the Médina, and welcomed us with great tea. The Riad itself is very well located inside Marrakech Médina, and it was renovated using the same materials and tools as the original construction. Its terrace is amazing, with a lovely view over Marrakech. We will definitely come back soon. Thanks to Mr. Lénaick and his team, they feel like a beautiful, lovely family!
