We were impressed with El Morocco Hotel and would confidently recommend it to clients and fellow travellers. As travel agents, we enjoyed the hospitality, service, and value, and look forward to working with them and sending more travellers their way. The location made it easy to explore the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, blending Moroccan charm with modern comforts, and the facilities were well maintained with care evident throughout. From arrival, the staff made us feel at ease with their warm, professional welcome. The whole team was friendly, available, and keen to make guests' stays memorable.

The owners and staff looked after us really well. We had a spacious, beautifully furnished room that was extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a safe, air conditioning, and a large bathroom. It also gave us access to a lovely rooftop with a small pool. The hotel sits just inside the Medina, which makes it easy both to explore there and to get out to other parts of Marrakech without walking through the Medina. It's a beautiful place, and I'd highly recommend staying here. I hope to come back.

The Wi-Fi went out for a little over 24 hours, which made arranging activities difficult since we had no data. The owner apologized and let us use the neighbour’s Wi-Fi from the pool area as a temporary fix. We also had cold showers on two of our four nights. The first time, we were told the water just needed time to heat, but after 20 minutes it was clear there was no hot water. The next time, at 11 pm, they said too many people were showering at once. Hot water never returned either time. I would have preferred a straightforward acknowledgement that there was a problem. They suggested we use the bathroom at reception as a workaround. It was uncomfortable having to carry our towels and soap there, with no floor mat or place to hang clothes. Our clothes got soaked after we left them on the toilet, and showering beside cleaning products wasn't what I expected from such a nice hotel. Still, these were unfortunate snags, and I'm very happy with the stay overall. Zakariya, who I believe was the manager, was kind and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and in an excellent location, and the staff were lovely. We enjoyed breakfast. We visited in December, and while it was cold, the room had heating. Slippers would have helped with the cold floors. My partner and I had a lovely time and I would definitely stay again.

The riad's décor was lovely, with a beautiful, authentic feel, and the housekeeping and reception staff were professional, kind, and spoke several languages, so communication was easy. But the stay was uncomfortable because repairs went on day and night, with constant noise. Breakfast choices were very limited, and the owners' service fell short of what I expected. They tried, but their communication was weak and unhelpful. The place looks nice, but between the service and ongoing construction, the experience was far from ideal.

The staff were polite, helpful, and great people, thanks Zakaria. It's a clean, quiet, pleasant riad in a great location, with good-sized rooms and a varied breakfast with good food. I'd recommend it to friends.
