Es Saadi Marrakech Resort Hotel

The gardens are what made the Palace feel like a private retreat. With palm trees, flowers, and quiet paths all around, it was easy to slow down and relax, even though the Medina is only minutes away. Every part of the grounds was beautifully kept. At Es Saadi Marrakech Resort Palace, we were welcomed warmly and professionally from the moment we arrived. It’s a beautiful place with a calm atmosphere, luxurious touches, and an authentic Moroccan feel right in the heart of Marrakech.

My main quibble was the bedroom, which felt a little old fashioned. I think it could use new furniture and a refurb. Apart from that, we had a great stay at Es Saadi. The welcome was warm, the staff were helpful, breakfast was good, and the Palace spa was amazing. The location was excellent too, with many good restaurants and sights just a short walk away. I’d recommend it to future guests.

The room was really worn and needs updating. We booked twin beds but got a double, and after trying to get it changed without success, we eventually gave up. They did make up a second bed, but it was just a sheet on a sofa. We had no hot water, only lukewarm, and the pool bar charged us 200 MAD for two orange juices. The view was great, at least. I’ll know to avoid it next time.

It’s a scary place for me now. Kids outside often attack and steal from customers, and I was robbed twice. I’ve stayed here a couple of times, and the hotel hasn’t been good: the breakfast is poor quality and the rooms are small. Receptionist Amin was very rude and wouldn’t even let me cross the lobby to get to the casino. That lack of respect made an already bad experience worse. I’ve posted a photo of the wall where the robbers usually sit and wait for victims. I hope you aren’t the next one to be assaulted.
