Hotel Riad Fantasia

The location was very convenient, just steps from the heart of Marrakech. I booked Riad Fantasia through Booking for November 25th to 29th, and the stay was a genuinely positive one. The staff were so friendly, especially Sana, the young woman working there. She was welcoming, shared lots of recommendations, and was always available to help. I'd definitely book Riad Fantasia again if I return to Marrakech.

My room was quiet, clean, and had good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was very good, and the service was friendly. My colleagues, though, had rooms facing the street and complained about the noise. Special thanks to Zakria and ghali.

The service was disgusting, especially the hammam and massage. I can't imagine worse treatment anywhere. The management staff were easily the worst I've encountered, and the place and people had a very weird vibe. The woman in the salon was kind enough to dry my hair, but that's about the only positive thing I can say.

The reception guy at night kept chatting and playing music until I finally came out to ask him to be quiet. He also tried to be helpful, but it felt like he only wanted my contact details. Completely unprofessional. The room had no outside windows, so the bathroom and bedroom both opened onto the hallway and the noise was unbearable. Its door let corridor light in and didn't make me feel safe. The bathroom looked as if it had never been cleaned, and everything felt dirty and old. The furniture was disgusting, the room was cold, and the water was cold too. When I complained about the water, staff tried to help but didn't fix it. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at in Morocco or anywhere else. Even at a low price, it was horrible value. Avoid it like a plague.
