Las Palmeras

The traditional Moroccan-style terrace was my favorite part of the beautiful design. I was really happy with my stay: the place is lovely, breakfast and service are great, and the prices are reasonable.

The people made this stay for me. Everyone looking after us was so friendly, including the villagers nearby, and they took care of whatever we needed. It’s a lovely spot if you want to get away from Marrakech’s traffic, horns, noise, and bustle. The setting is gorgeous, tropical and breezy; the pool is cold and the cabana is cool. You’re in a second world country, so pay for the Ritz if that’s what you want. I’d never stay anywhere else in Morocco again. Highly recommend!!

We only planned on one day and wound up extending. It’s about 20 minutes outside the Marrakech City Center / Medina, and we had a car, so the adventurous drive back and forth each day was fine for us. We wanted somewhere peaceful away from a busy area or a Ritz Carlton, and this suited us well. Great value and lovely people. I’d recommend it if you’re after the same kind of stay. The garden and hotel had cats, birds, and even peacocks around. Mimi spent time with us in our room, and waking up to birdsong was truly magnifique. The owner and team were humble, warm, and peaceful. We had a suite with a walk-in closet and full bathroom, enjoyed a dip in the pool one morning, and had breakfast of Moroccan eggs, fresh bread, butter, honey, tea or coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice. A beautiful, humble stay. Love the people here. Thank you to everyone on site.
