Les Palmiers Boutique Hôtel & Spa

The reception team were excellent, friendly, welcoming, and professional. Our room was very spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom very clean with lots of towels. It had a smart TV, and bottled water was free, though the dates weren't complimentary. There were no USB ports, and several outlets were broken. The quiet setting outside Marrakech has high walls for privacy and a lush garden where you can really relax. But the place doesn't seem properly maintained, which is disappointing at the high nightly rate for a hotel marketed as five-star. There are two pools, one cold and one heated, but service at the pool was poor. We had to call staff several times for a menu, then waited about 10 minutes, which I timed. Staff presence was lacking, the sunbeds and cushions were dirty, and many parasols were broken. Pool bar prices were excessive for what you got: a small Caesar salad cost 230 dirhams and a Coke was 80. Staff also tried to sell us a day pass even though we'd told them several times we were staying overnight. The gym was in poor shape too, dirty and dusty, with leaves inside, no air conditioning, and rust on the weights. This doesn't meet five-star standards.

We came in the third week of November for a birthday trip and stayed in the suite for about four nights. The room was stunning, and the service was great throughout. They even arranged a birthday treat for me, decorating the room and providing a cake on request. There were a couple of power cuts, but we still had a great stay. Definitely recommend.

I came to les palmiers on a day pass and had a lovely, chilled day by the pool. The place is beautiful and has a great vibe, and the staff were so friendly. Thanks Ismail and Faty for the hospitality. Definitely recommend!

The location gave us a bit of calm away from the city’s bustle, while still being close to the centre. We stayed in a lovely, spacious junior suite with a terrace and felt right at home. The restaurant was great, though breakfast was only mediocre. Everyone was warm, cheerful, and ready to help. Special thanks to ABDUL in the restaurant for such attentive service. We’d definitely come back and stay longer.
