Park Hyatt Marrakech

We had a suite, with plenty of room, and especially liked the extra space on the ground floor. The property isn’t very large, so getting around is easy. Breakfast was very good and the staff were genuinely friendly, though service could feel scattered. Sometimes four or five different waiters came to our table instead of one person, which made things a bit chaotic. We were traveling with two kids. Our travel agent had said the outdoor pool was heated, but it wasn’t on the first day. After we raised it, they warmed it to about 25°C. They’d said 28°C, but it definitely didn’t feel that warm. We have our own pool at home at 28°C, so we could tell. It was a bit chilly and we didn’t swim. We were also told the indoor pool was kid-friendly, but at the hotel they said it was adults only. Our travel agent got in touch, and by the end of the day we were allowed to use the kids pool from 5:30 pm. That was disappointing, and they shouldn’t advertise it that way, though they did make the adjustment. The kids enjoyed the decent playground, and they really loved the super friendly staff. The hotel is about 20 minutes outside Marrakech, and there isn’t much to do on the property itself. The Mandarin Oriental next door is nice to visit and has a good lunch spot. The setting is beautiful and comfortable, especially for families, and I’d definitely recommend it.

This brand new hotel is breathtaking, from the design and decor to all the little details. The service was exceptional, and our gorgeous suite felt like home thanks to Badr, Saad, Hamza, and the rest of the team. They set the table whenever we ordered room service, drove us to and from the suite in golf carts at any hour, left lovely turn-down treats, arranged taxis and shuttles, and served delicious free breakfast and refreshments each morning. We also made full use of the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and gym, especially in chilly January. It’s a 15-25 minute drive to places in the main city, so that’s something to account for when planning your days. A five-star stay, and I can’t wait to come back.

Brahim, Saad, and Mohcine looked after us with so much care and professionalism when I went for poolside lunch with my sister and our three children. The view of the Atlas mountain was lovely, the kids swam in the beautiful, spacious pool, and the food was excellent. The whole visit was perfect, especially the service. We’ll definitely go again. A Marrakech address worth knowing.

The place is beautiful and distinctive, and we had a lovely stay, though it’s a little far from the city center. Rafiq at the concierge made the visit special with his care and attention. The breakfast team were warm and excellent too, especially Younes and Saad. The spa side needs more attention to maintenance and hygiene: towels were often missing at the gym, there was no soap in the toilets, and there was an unpleasant smell.
