We’d already paid the tax with our confirmed booking, but were charged it again when we arrived. The room looked nothing like the photos and was in very poor condition, and the AC didn’t work at all. The whole stay was extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

We spent six nights here, and Youssef was always around to help. He introduced us to the city, recommended restaurants and museums, and even helped us get a Moroccan SIM card. The riad is in the old town near Jemaa el-Fnaa, so it’s hectic all day. Breakfast was really delicious.

Youssef was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful, always available and full of local tips. The riad’s location near the city center was great, and the building felt authentic, clean, and beautiful inside. Our room was on the -1th floor, so air didn’t circulate well, and the shower, sink, AC, and wardrobe weren’t very comfortable. Still, I really loved the place and its staff.

The staff were kind and welcoming, and did their best to answer our questions. The roof terrace was lovely too. But the photos make the place look much better than it is. It’s very basic, while the price is high for what you get. The rooms are extremely dark, the lighting is weak, and there’s no mirror apart from a tiny one over the bathroom sink. The sink barely drained, and there’s hardly any room for your things because everything is crammed together. There are no windows you can open, the old doors have big gaps, and it doesn’t feel like anything has been updated in a long time. We got one mismatched towel each, and cleaning before we arrived was minimal: packets and hairs were in the bathroom and beds, though the linen seemed washed. Breakfast is very basic, but it’s included, and they kindly offer tea. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it at this price. There are much better places in better locations for far less.
