The rooms are a bit small, which seems normal for riads, and it didn’t spoil our stay. Riad Assouel has real charm, with a lovely old building, a jacuzzi, and an indoor pool. Having breakfast beside the pool was a peaceful way to start the day. It’s tucked slightly away for a quieter feel, but still an easy walk from the main sights. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I tried the massage and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was, both relaxing and professional. A great option in Marrakech.

The roof terrace was a highlight, with several sun loungers and three pools, including warm and cold ones on the roof. Our room was in excellent condition, and breakfast was included and enjoyable. We could walk to bars, restaurants, and souks from the riad. The staff, including Yusef, made our stay especially nice. They welcomed us with traditional tea, showed us around, and let us use the facilities before check-in and after checkout. Check-in starts at 2 pm and checkout is at 12.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the riad was beautifully decorated. We left our luggage while exploring and came back to find it all in our room. I didn’t get the name of the receptionist on 26/4 - 27/4, but he went out of his way to make the stay great. Since we had an early airport departure, he made sure we had breakfast and walked us to our taxi.

There was a long wait to check in, but we were welcomed with traditional tea, and Younes worked really hard on his own to look after all the guests. Our room was lovely and smelled really nice when we arrived. The rooftop view was the best, and we got to enjoy the heated jacuzzi. Amine was there just for the day, I think, and his service was 10/10. Such a nice guy who made us feel at home. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

The room, O'urika, was spacious and gave us a real sense of Moroccan culture. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly, and there was a heated pool and jacuzzi. It’s right in the heart of Marrakech, yet you can hardly hear the busy city. Would definitely recommend it. 10/10.
