The staff were very nice, and we enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop. We also had tea a couple of times on the first floor, where the riad feels wonderfully serene. My only suggestion there is the music. We like Madonna, but another kind of background music would suit the space better. We loved the decoration and our room for four people. Coming into the riad feels like stepping into another world, bright and peaceful. There were a couple of bathroom issues, a loose faucet and hot water that came and went, but a little patience helps when you're in the middle of the Medina in a country with water shortages. We tried to find the riad ourselves with Google Maps, but its location isn't correct. By chance, someone from the staff spotted us trying to work out where to go and guided us there. Great riad overall!

There are seven en-suite rooms, so this worked really well for our large group. The roof terrace and swimming pool are beautiful, and the location is great. Mohammed and Sharif took good care of us as hosts, and even let us use the living room for a few hours after checkout. We'd definitely come back!

The rooms are beautiful, the location is perfect and the catering was superb. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Five stars hardly feels like enough for this wonderful riad.

The care from Cherif and his team was outstanding. They always had a smile and a solution. We also had a meal prepared by Fatima, easily the best food we tasted during our stay. The hammam and massage on site were a real treat, and everyone made it such a happy, memorable visit. My daughter and I came for three days to relax and shop at Riad Dar El Mahja, and it was comfortable and beautifully decorated. I still don't know how I managed to fit three giant straw hats, inspired by the one on our room's wall, into my case! Highly recommended.

Sherif and the staff looked after us so well during a weekend with friends for my 50th birthday. The food was amazing, and the location is perfect. The riad is beautiful, spotless and so calm. Couldn't recommend this Road enough.
