2/10
The room was noisy at night because of sounds outside the riyad, and my bathroom had a leaking shower and a broken toilet. I also found the male staff member’s manner arrogant and not very nice. He seemed a little bit racist to guests, which was upsetting, especially in a hospitality job where people should be spoken to kindly. I was first impressed by the riad’s old style, but I didn’t feel comfortable staying there. I wouldn’t recommend it, as you can find better riads elsewhere.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and that’s why I’m giving two stars. The riad is expensive for what you get, and there’s a lot that could be improved. Our sheets were dirty, the bathroom was covered in mold, and it was cold. At night I could hear every person passing on the street, as if they were right in my room. It was also hard to find because there’s no sign. Watch out for young people in the area who offer to help lost tourists, then try to take them to pricier parking lots they work with and ask for money. There are better, cheaper places nearby.

The owner was friendly, but the rooms felt dated and were very small. There are better riads around Marrakech.

It’s a cosy, nice riad. The beds were a bit hard, but I’d stay here again.

The breakfasts were incredibly generous and delicious, and the receptionists were friendly. I liked the riad, but we’d think twice before returning because it was so hard to find. There’s no sign with the name on the door.
