We had a great stay and would definitely book here again, with everything within walking distance. The riad is pretty and sits in the Sidi Mimoun district, near enough to the Medina but away from the bustle and noise. Palace Guards surround the area, which felt very safe and secure. My boyfriend and I could walk around late at night and still feel safe. Our room was big and comfortable. They cleaned it daily and replenished toiletries and fresh towels. Breakfast was great, with plenty of variety that changed from day to day. The accommodating staff gave us a map and talked us through things to see and do in and around Marrakech. The road also offers excursions and other services that can be done in road, including hammam and massages, lunches and dinner, and laundry services.

The breakfast was good, and the location is close to the old Medina, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Still, this only scrapes a three-star rating, and that's generous. I booked this hotel, but on arrival they put me in the Riad next door, Riad Dar Sirine. They said the Riads are linked, but I hadn't paid to stay at the Sirine. If they're linked, they should advertise it as Riad Dal Palmyra / Sirine. The sheets had small brownish stains, and there was hair and a hair band behind the bed from a previous guest. They need to improve cleanliness. Staff know French or Arabic but no English, so be ready to use Google translate a lot.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and their warm hospitality made the stay memorable. Everything was spotless, with impeccable hygiene throughout. We had a plentiful, delicious breakfast each morning, and the location made it easy to get around and explore the lively city. A fantastic stay at a charming riad. Highly recommended.

The Riad is lovely, with great staff, and the host/manager is especially helpful with arranging day trips. Just keep in mind the small rooms are really only ideal for one person. For two or more, I'd choose a larger room.

We thought this was a good deal for a comfortable, affordable stay. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable, and we could walk to the old town in about 10 minutes. It took around 15 minutes to reach the airport. We stayed one night after landing and before setting off on a road trip through Marroco. Parking was available a five-minute walk away and cost us 50 MAD for the day. You can't park right outside the Riad, though, so you'll need to carry your luggage for a few minutes.
