Riad Dar Tamlil

The location is great, between Jemaa el-Fnaa and Place des Ferblantiers. Bahia and Badi palaces are close, and Passage Prince Moulay Rachid, with lots of nice restaurants, is just around the corner. I had a really nice stay at Riad Dar Tamlil. After a long trip, the friendly welcome and glass of mint tea were a lovely touch. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed, a little sitting area, and a private shower. The riad is beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, and the rooftop terrace is a nice spot to relax. Breakfast was tasty and well looked after every morning. Big shoutout to Hicham, such a kind, helpful man who was always around and working hard. He really adds something special. The other staff were welcoming too. I'd definitely stay again!

Riad Elixir is a great example of a riad, and the stay is more like a B&B than a hotel. The host was friendly, very helpful, spoke good English, and shared local knowledge. He recommended a Café and even walked there with us. It's north of the main market, an easy walk if you're in decent shape. You'll need a map or cell service and a mapping app to find your way through the old city's maze. The best buys are closest to the riad. Taxis can't get to the door, so expect a short walk from wherever you're dropped off. The area looks sketchy, but it's very safe, even late at night.

A lovely family-run oasis, just 5min from the ElFna. The staff are incredibly friendly and make it feel like a second home in no time. They serve a classy Moroccan-style breakfast. I'll definitely come back!

A great stay in Marrakech. The location is superb, and the owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We had a great experience here.
