Riad Diana’s central location made it easy for us to get around Marrakech, and we had an awesome time. There was a slight smell around the bathroom and toilet, but shutting the door fixed it completely. The hospitality, comfort, and rest of the experience were truly five stars. Highly recommended!

The worst part was being charged twice for one room. My husband tried to pay by card, but the receptionist seemed unsure how to use the machine and it broke. He said the payment had failed, although our banking app showed it had gone through. When we asked him and the owner to show the day's payment list, they refused and showed us only the next day's transactions. He said he would check with the bank and refund us if the card payment had cleared. We paid again in cash to avoid further trouble, got a very informal-looking invoice, and trusted them to follow up. They never did. Our bank later confirmed the card charge, so the riad kept two payments for a room that wasn't worth the price. We stayed only one night, thankfully, and the experience left a bitter mark on our Morocco holiday and seriously damaged our trust in people. The room smelled awful, the walls were damp, and there was hardly any air circulation. The air conditioning seemed long overdue for repair, and using it felt unsafe, as though it might cause a respiratory problem. It was impossible to relax in that smell. There was just one bottle of so-called shampoo for everything, including soap and shower gel, so bring your own hair products if you care about them. The lighting was nice and the location convenient, though the medina is walkable, so that could be said of any riad there. I'd suggest finding somewhere taxis can reach, preferably outside the medina. For the same money, there are better options, and getting around would be easier. Having to deal with police on vacation is the last thing anyone wants. This place and the people there don't reflect the kindness and hospitality of this beautiful country.

A clean, comfortable riad with really friendly, helpful staff. A good base for exploring.

For a one-night visit, the room was basic but comfortable. Ours was a double on the top floor, and there was another terrace above it with better city views. The little indoor pool was freezing, and the shower got so hot we had to be careful, though the water pressure was fine. There are cats around, so keep that in mind if you're allergic. Breakfast was limited to what they served at the table and ran only from 8 to 9:30 am; checkout was by 11:30 am. Finding the guest house was a hassle. It's in the middle of Medina Marrakech, but there are no signs, Google Maps wasn't much help, and a man offered to guide us before asking for money. At reception we filled in our details and waited for the room. The card machine wasn't working, so we paid cash, which wasn't surprising since many places in Morocco don't take cards. The main entrance key won't open the door, so you have to ring the bell, which could be awkward if you return late at night. Watch your head at the low entrance. Internet was slow and the room didn't have many power sockets. This place should be fine for one night in Marrakech, as long as you don't expect too much.

Scammers! They let some people who were following us into the hotel without asking them to leave, then demanded 100 dirum each from us. The rooms were awful and stank. We had booked two days but left the Riad straight away and couldn't even stay for two hours. Absolutely not worth it.
