Riad First

We really liked our room, and the place was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good, and the small staff were helpful when we asked. The current Google maps location is correct if you need help finding it. The pool isn't heated regularly. We asked, and they said heating it steams everything up, so this may not suit you if a warm pool matters. Sound carries around the central pool area, so birds or other guests having breakfast from 8 can wake you earlier than expected. The sights and markets are reachable, but it's a bit of a walk, around 25-30 min. The shower/bath setup pictured took some getting used to.

The host was lovely and breakfast was great. The AC doesn't work well, but otherwise everything was fine. It's in the middle of the old city, so cars can only drop you off 6-8 walking min away from the riad.

The owner made us feel incredibly welcome, almost like having a morrocon mother. We stayed two nights and this was one of our favourite places during our three weeks travelling around morroco. The place is stunning and super clean, with a nice heated pool and rooftop terrace. Breakfast was light but set us up for the day, and the Wifi worked well. It's a 10-minute walk from the madness, with a small shop at the top of the street. 10/10

What I’ll remember most about Riad First is how looked after I felt. I was travelling alone, but Fatima made the place feel like home, and I never once felt on my own. Sadek was just as thoughtful, always finding a way to help, even going out in the middle of the night to get us a bottle of Coke. At breakfast, he noticed my runny nose and handed me a tissue. Those little things made a big difference, and I found a family here. I’ll be back before too long. The riad itself is chic, tastefully decorated, and has modern facilities. Every detail feels considered.
