Riad L'oriental & SPA

We booked activities through the riad and everything was easy and well organized. The staff were helpful and always smiling, and the service was excellent. It’s a lovely, peaceful place in the heart of the Medina. Highly recommended.

The activities we arranged through Riad L’Oriental & Spa were perfectly organized and made our Marrakech visit easier. The team were attentive whenever we needed help, and their warm welcome and professionalism made the stay even better. The riad is beautiful, clean, and peaceful, with an authentic feel in the heart of Marrakech. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay. We’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting.

The location was one of the hardest parts of our stay. Walking back at night felt scary, and the rooftop has no view because a fence has been built around it. In the bathroom, the toilet roll holder was coming off the wall, the towels had holes, and the shower sprayed onto the sink and the wall-mounted hairdryer. With the tiled floor getting very slippery when wet, that felt dangerous. There were some good points: the front desk staff were friendly, the Wi-Fi connection in our room was strong, the heater kept us warm in January, and the bed was fairly comfortable. But despite telling them before arrival that we were vegan, there was nothing for us at breakfast, which was supposed to be included, or at dinner.

The location worked really well for us: it’s within walking distance of the city center but away from the crowds. We stayed two nights, and the riad itself is beautiful, especially the roof terrace where breakfast comes with spectacular views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.
