I spent three weeks here working and exploring Marrakech, and it felt like home. Mehdi deserves a special mention: he greeted me with a smile at breakfast every morning, and his warmth and service were excellent. There are great restaurants nearby, and many attractions are within walking distance. I plan to come back. The family of cats on the rooftop are beautiful, and I loved sharing cheese with them each morning. I hope I didn't get them in trouble!

The terrace is amazing, with a mini pool and hot tube. The location felt a little rough at first, but it wasn't a problem.

The service from all the staff was excellent, and breakfast was tasty and plentiful. This characterful, quirky riad is well placed in the medina, with a nice roof terrace and plunge pool. Our room was on the terrace and a little small. You can also hear the local mosques' call to prayer from 5.30am, so light sleepers should ask for another room.

My fiancé booked Riad Moullaoud as a last-minute break for us, and we ended up having the best trip we’ve ever taken. We used to say Egypt was our favorite, but this stay changed that. The staff did so much to make us feel looked after, and we’d love to return. Breakfast on the roof terrace, watching the sun come up over the distant mountains, was lovely, and the hammams were wonderfully invigorating. The tagines were even better than we expected. Dinner needs to be booked that morning, but it’s worth doing at least once: the portions are generous, the food is so tasty, and being taken care of there feels lovely.
