Riad abaka by Ghali annexe

We never found the place, so we gave up and booked somewhere else. All calls went straight to voicemail, and nobody replied when we asked them to send the actual entrance location. Even the rooftop restaurant, supposedly in the same building, hadn't heard of it. Other reviews mention how hard it is to find. Unless you're arriving early in daylight, you might have time to work it out. To the owners, if the place exists, put up a street sign and provide detailed arrival instructions on your website.

Everything else was fine, and they let us leave our luggage downstairs after checkout. The breakfast was pretty awful, though, and the excursions booked through them seemed a bit expensive compared with other agencies.

The riad is very central, with friendly neighbors and a pleasant atmosphere on the street. The staff were warm and helpful with suggestions for places to visit, and offered some interesting excursions. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good. We loved our stay and would recommend it if you want to enjoy Marrakech comfortably with good vibes.

The riad is well located and makes a good starting point for the day. Breakfast is basic but enough to get going, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Light sleepers may want earplugs, though that could be true of all riads because of how they're built. It's a little tricky to find. From where a taxi or other vehicle drops you by the wall, go straight, take the first right, then follow the road for a while. There's a tunnel on the left with a sign above it saying "Sania." Google Maps points you the wrong way.
