The double booking was a real disappointment. We’d booked three months ahead, then just two days before our holiday they told us they had booked us in twice. They did make a real effort to look after us: we were put up at their sister Riad, Riad Barroko, collected from the airport for free, taken to Riad Zagouda on the second day at no charge, and given dinner free on our first evening. The Riad is lovely and very quiet, even though Jemaa el-Fnaa is only a ten-minute walk away. The staff are friendly, and breakfast was OK. Our room’s shower was the one problem, with weak pressure and water that was lukewarm at best. Because of the double booking I’d find it hard to recommend, though if you do end up here, you’ll enjoy it.

The hosts were friendly, and the riad is in a nice spot near a good shopping street. Just be careful with Google Maps or Maps.me, as it’s hard to find. I’d give it 4 out of 5 because in some rooms the bathroom walkway doesn’t reach all the way to the ceiling, so there isn’t full privacy from the bedroom.

It’s a small, quiet place with a quaint feel, since there aren’t many rooms. The staff are very accommodating, and the hotel is just minutes from the souks and main square. I’d absolutely stay again. You won’t be disappointed.
