The free breakfast was exactly the sort of food I eat with my Moroccan friends, and the staff were SO NICE. As someone who lives in Morocco, I appreciated how the hotel felt connected to the culture and people, without the touristy feel of places in the center. There were even guests from other parts of Morocco when I stayed. It has the feel of a Wes Anderson movie, like it was once grand and full of visitors, and now carries a reminder of that beauty. Truly one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. I rarely write reviews, but wanted to share how happy I was with villaguest. Highly recommend, especially if you're on a budget. It's also very close to the L16 route, which goes right into the city centre.

Fatima, the cook, makes everything fresh to order, and the food is well worth arranging in advance. The staff are very hospitable, as they are throughout Morocco. The hotel has several rooms and a swimming pool, in a quiet area just outside central Marrakech. A really nice base for a fun week in Morocco.

I really enjoyed my stay in this quiet, welcoming place. The garden and room with its lit terrace were lovely, and breakfast was a treat. Thank you for the service and warm welcome. I'll be back soon.

The managers are very nice, including Abdel Salam and .... The villa is beautiful and the cleanliness was okay, though the garden and pool furniture, as well as the interior furniture, could use a little attention to make the place even better.

The place was fairly clean, with a friendly welcome and a very good breakfast. It's quite far from the city center, though, and doesn't have many amenities.
