Dar Chefchaouen

The location made it easy to get everywhere, and before we arrived the managers were helpful, arranging an airport shuttle and suggesting things to see. Someone met us and guided us to the hotel, but our first-floor room in the middle of the building still wasn't ready in the early afternoon, so we waited an hour. During the stay we didn't see anyone to replace towels or take out the rubbish. A young man brought us a bottle of water only at the end. The room itself was very cramped, with a hard, uncomfortable bed and a tiny bathroom, especially the shower. There's a kettle and coffee machine, but no cups or coffee pods. The outside lights kept switching on and off overnight, and there are no shutters or blackout curtains. Soundproofing was very poor too.
