Hotel Menzeh Dalia

The empty pool was a big letdown, especially since we chose the hotel partly for that and nobody warned us it had no water. There also wasn't a bar, restaurant, or anything like that open, even though it was advertised online. We wanted to spend time on the property instead of going out for drinks or dinner. There were ants everywhere, including around the food and both inside and outside. We had two rooms: one had working AC and the other didn't. We asked the front desk to switch rooms, and they said they'd fix the air conditioning, but no one came. The staff we did meet were generally friendly and helpful, and the property looked beautiful in the photos. The rooms were mostly clean and cool, but the stay was disappointing and we probably won't return.

Boutaina, the hotel manager, gave us a warm welcome and went out of her way to make sure our rooms suited us. Yasin, the pool lifeguard, was friendly and helpful, and Zuhair, the night guard, looked after our comfort when we came back to the hotel. The whole staff provided wonderful service from the moment we arrived. We had a fantastic stay at Menzeh Dalia and would gladly recommend it to people visiting the area. Many thanks.

We got an upgraded room on the third floor, with a huge balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The room was clean, and the newly installed AC was welcome in the summer heat. Nadia, Mustafa, Abdelghani and the other staff we met were all very friendly. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants and snack places, and it's handy for getting onto the highway toward Rabat or Fes. We stay here whenever we visit Meknes, as we did last week. I'd recommend it. The hammam and spa still need to open.

We spent 14 days here as a group in April and May 2024. The hotel is large, most rooms have plenty of space, and the pool is big enough to swim in properly. The city center is a bit of a trek, though the biggest shopping center in Meknes is right nearby. What made the stay special was how the guests were treated. Manager Boutayna came over herself to ask if we needed anything, and she was helpful, friendly and professional throughout. We ended up becoming friends during the stay and felt at home. She was regularly around and in good spirits, and clearly looked after the other guests too. Owner Khadija also cared about guests' well-being and was kind. The two of them worked together smoothly. That level of warmth and professionalism is rare, and it's why I'd recommend the hotel. Thank you, Boutayna and Khadija. Inshallah, see you again.
