Hôtel Résidence Ramsis

We had booked a room with breakfast included for the whole stay, but when we arrived, the staff said breakfast wasn't provided and we'd have to manage on our own. Their attitude was frankly appalling and completely unprofessional, even though they were entirely in the wrong. After I complained to Booking.com, they showed no remorse and called me in to explain myself, without offering any apology. I do want to thank Booking.com for backing us through this and refunding the lunch cost.

I can't understand the positive reviews. This was a horror, absolutely catastrophic. Both apartments had an unbearable sewage smell, the carpet was disgusting, and the front door wouldn't close. It was extremely noisy and dirty, and the heating didn't work. For a room for five, there were only two towels and one duvet. I had to fight to get blankets, but they were dirty and smelled awful, so we ended up freezing, with no sheets. The photos are misleading. Breakfast was okay, but reception was unpleasant and misogynistic. Never again. Nador has so many beautiful, good hotels.

The city itself could use more entertainment, but this is a good place to stay in Nador and handy for getting around. The food was more than adequate, and the staff were always ready to help. Carima was especially attentive.

Street noise was the one downside. We were there just for one night, and both the welcome and the rooms were very good. I recommend the hotel, and a big thanks to Karima for her kindness and hospitality.
