Marchica Lagoon Resort

A lovely spot to unwind, and there’s plenty here for a family too: a covered heated pool, jacuzzi, tasty food, and great service. Hassan and Morad were especially kind and welcoming. 100% recommended!

After a long drive, the warm welcome at arrival was much appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by my room, especially the garden view, and a hot bath helped me relax. The resort itself is impressive, with a beautiful building, a great setting by Marchica lagoon, and lovely decor and atmosphere. The people made a strong impression too. Achraf at reception, from Alhoceima, was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Zakaria at Yubar and Hamza, the manager from Oujda, were professional and helpful as well. Yubar has a stylish setup that’s great for relaxing. The team at Labodega del Faro were also friendly and took time to explain what was around with curiosity and honesty. It’s an impressive, stylish place to chill. Service at l’assiette was very professional. I’d come mainly hoping to catch some Mediterranean waves after hurricane Erine. One small suggestion: it would be useful to have a full-board option covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the one-night price. Paying separately for lunch and dinner pushed me over my budget, so I couldn’t afford water sports like e foil or diving.

We had two rooms for five people, and the hammam was a real highlight. The rooms were very clean and kept stocked with drinking water, and the buffet had a great range of food for everyone. The resort is beautiful throughout. We mentioned a concern about a waiter (R.), and the hotel manager handled it with understanding. They also gave us lunch at no charge, which we really appreciated. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. Greetings from rainy Germany :)
