We came back to the restaurant during our short stay in Oualidia because we loved it so much. The gardens felt peaceful, and the lagoon view was beautiful, especially at sunset. We had a wonderful platter of fresh fish, a varied, refreshing salad, and rich desserts. We didn’t stay at the hotel, only ate at the restaurant.

The restaurant’s menu is huge, but virtually only one dish is available. The bar lists wine, cocktails, and beer, yet again there was just one choice of each, and the cocktails seemed suspiciously light on alcohol. The food costs far too much. Service was okay. The seaside resort itself is lovely, with sparkling-clean rooms, a welcoming lounge with a crackling fire, nice gardens, and a pool.

I only stopped in for breakfast, so I can’t say anything about the rooms or other restaurant meals. The terrace has an incredible lagoon view, and the gardens are beautiful. Service was courteous and efficient, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Breakfast was filling and well put together, enjoyable though neither exceptional nor fully Moroccan. I had a lovely time and would recommend it for a relaxing morning with a view.

The food was mediocre, cold, and overpriced. We ordered wine, but they brought a bottle that cost twice as much without telling us. Service was terrible.
