Al Baraka des Loisirs

It's a good base for a short trip around Ouarzazate and the surrounding area. The hotel is out of town, but petit taxis make it accessible. Our room was clean, had air conditioning and all the amenities we needed. The pool was a nice extra, and it wasn't busy when we visited. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There's a good choice of meals at the hotel restaurant, and the shop next door is handy for supplies.

Glad we only had one night here during our November package tour. This is a very basic hotel beside a petrol station, with old rooms and furnishings. When we turned on the room light, it was blue. Luckily, we fiddled with the switch and got it back to normal white. The buffet dinner wasn't good, and neither was breakfast.

It's right in front of a studio and close to other studios. The rooms were clean, the staff were really nice, and the food was good too. I'd definitely recommend it.
