The neighborhood is lovely, and I’d happily stay here again. The grounds are attractive, the restaurant is nice, and the rooms are well equipped with Western-style bathrooms. Our room got quite a bit of traffic noise, though I can’t say whether that’s true of all the rooms. The towels are dried on a line and feel very scratchy, but that seems common outside Morocco’s bigger cities.

We only needed a place to rest for a couple of hours, take a hot shower, and have lunch before continuing to M'hamid, where we had a booking for the night. After a really bad experience in Tissint the night before, this hotel saved our day. I’m not sure whether the kind man who welcomed us was the owner or a manager, but he was so generous to let us stay. The location was very impressive. Thanks for helping us out. Next time, we’ll stay overnight!

The food at the restaurant was good quality and reasonably priced. The bar costs a little more, though the prices aren’t outrageous. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient, and most spoke good English. It’s a cozy little Moroccan-style hotel, with lovely gardens and lots of casual outdoor spots to sit and relax. There’s also a restaurant, a bar, and a swimming pool.

The restaurant is good, though the bathrooms could do with some updating.

I hadn’t planned to stop here because we were heading out to the Sahara, but I got sick and our tour group brought us to this hotel. The room was nice, and the restaurant was much better than I expected. Since I had food poisoning, I needed something plain. Nothing on the menu really fit, but the staff went out of their way to make us plain rice and pasta. Later, after a pretty crazy day, my boyfriend at the time proposed near the pool. The decor felt romantic and a bit tucked away, just right since we never made it to the desert. This place ended up in our wild engagement story, the one where I threw up all over Morocco!
