The massage was excellent, and I'd strongly suggest booking it in advance. There were lots of thoughtful touches, including great bathroom products, and I particularly enjoyed the plentiful, delicious homemade breakfast and other food. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. This charming little village hotel outside town was truly the highlight of my time in this part of Morocco.

The main thing I missed was trying the hammam and spa. Still, this stay was a perfect way to recover after our fascinating desert hike, which started here. It felt like an oasis from a Thousand and One Nights, with excellent breakfast and dinner, friendly and accommodating staff, and an owner who did everything to make us feel at home. The quiet location had a splendid view of the snow-covered Atlas peaks. Rooms were well equipped and beautifully decorated with Moroccan tiles designed by the owner.

The views were lovely, and the service was super friendly. We stayed as a family in a family suite with a small child. The Riad was very clean, and dinner was massive, though the simple three-course menu is definitely enough. Breakfast and dinner were the best parts for me. It's outside town, so I'd suggest eating dinner at the Riad. It can get a bit cold inside, especially in bad weather, and the rooms take a while to warm up with the inverter AC. Great, great, great!

The riad is a little outside Ouarzazate, but once you settle in there’s not much reason to go farther. My dad and I stayed one night and had a lovely time. Our suites were spacious, with extra beds that would work well for families, and the Moroccan decor gave the place an authentic feel. There’s a small, refreshing pool and a pretty garden in the middle where you can arrange dinner ahead of time. We enjoyed the food and could choose from menus at different price levels. Nadia and Myriam were especially attentive and made us feel welcome.
