Hotel Marmar

Just a one-night stopover for me. The staff and location were excellent, and so was breakfast.

Staff were exceptionally pleasant, and there are several restaurants nearby for a meal. The Hotel Marmar also has on-site parking and a nice breakfast to start the day. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a bathroom door that locks. Highly recommend it.

I asked for a quiet room, and the owner kindly gave me one overlooking the courtyard. He was a very kind host and helpful with everything I asked. The location worked well for me, within walking distance of the market and other points of interest in Ouerzazate. Common areas felt better than two stars to me, and were clean, cozy, and bright. The room had enough equipment for this level of hotel. The bathroom was modest, as you’d expect, and not high-end in design. Good value for money, and I’d probably stay again.

I came for one night and stayed three. The hospitality and cozy feel made it a five-star stay for me, and the location was super convenient, near all the transport hubs and walkable to the city centre. The courtyard cafe serves breakfast outdoors under the shade of mature trees. Aziza at reception was always friendly and ready to help, and Yussef and the cafe team were smiley, chatty, and helpful. I had room 220. It was spacious and spotless, with a comfy bed and nice linen. The bathroom was brand new, and the shower pressure and temperature control were among the best two of my 45-day trip around Morocco. There is traffic noise, but it bothered me less than others may have suggested. The hum from the aircon, which worked perfectly, helped insulate the sound. Ask for a walk-in rate, you might be pleasantly surprised. Shukran, hotel Marmar, for a perfect end to my trip to Morocco.
