Hotel Palmeraie

Breakfast was delicious, made with fresh local ingredients, and the room was clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. The location felt peaceful while still being close to everything. I had a wonderful stay at Dyafat Abla guesthouse. The hosts were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing, authentic experience.

What stood out most was how kind and open the host was to conversation. We had endless, insightful talks that made the stay feel full of warmth and community, and we'll remember them. The room was clean and cozy, though the kitchen shown in the picture didn't work. We could use the fridge, at least. The location was nice, with parking very close by, and the included breakfast was plentiful and appreciated. We had a truly pleasant stay and felt welcomed by everyone. Recommended.

The room was clean and the location was central, which made it handy for exploring the city, but finding the place was difficult because there was no sign. There was a small kitchen, though it wasn't much use: no pot for boiling water, and the fridge couldn't be plugged in because its cable didn't fit the socket. We appreciated being offered tea on arrival, but communication with the owner was hard because he didn't speak English. When we asked about local attractions, he incorrectly told us the Kasbah would be closed. We checked anyway and found it open. We'd agreed breakfast would be ready at 8:30, within the stated 8 to 10 a.m. serving time. The owner arrived at 8:25, and when we came down at 8:30 there wasn't a free table. There are only 2 tables for 5 rooms. The food was acceptable, but there were no plates or cutlery. Cigarette smoke from the owner smoking inside traveled into our room and made the stay uncomfortable. In the morning there was no hot water, so we couldn't shower before leaving. The worst part was in the evening: I had urgent work to finish on my laptop in the lobby, but the owner turned off the lights and told me to leave. That felt incredibly disrespectful and stressful. The central location and clean room were positives, but poor communication, missing basics, smoke, no hot water, and the host's unprofessional behavior overshadowed the stay.

The place was clean and the staff were nice, but our second night was a problem. We had paid for two nights with a private bathroom and wifi included, then were told we had to move into a smaller room with a shared bathroom and almost no wifi. They didn't apologize and charged the same price for both nights.
