I spent three nights at Gite du Lac, a peaceful valley base for hikes and relaxing. The place is simple, clean, and nice, and the hosts, Achmed and Amira, are really sweet and helpful. Breakfast and homemade dinner were delicious and reasonably priced. I think it was 255 MAD for two dinners and three breakfasts, though I’m not sure if the price is always the same. It was a great experience!

The gîte is well located near the lake, and I stayed there for three nights with a friend. The owner and his wife are super kind and friendly. The service overall was good, and the food, homemade by the wife, was very delicious.

I arrived without a reservation and stayed two nights, enjoying every part of the hotel. The staff were super friendly, the breakfast and dinner delicious, the location perfect, and the facilities in mint condition. I spent time hiking around the village, went on an amazing horseback tour, and watched football by the lake with locals. Such a peaceful place with lovely people :)

Lunch was amazing and reasonably priced, and the service was friendly. We started with mint tea, while my friend had verbena tea that our host went to pick fresh from his garden. Then came fresh bread with the best olive oil and olives I’ve ever had, followed by a very fresh cucumber and tomato salad. For the main course we could choose beef or lamb tagine, and both were phenomenal. They came topped with cinnamon pears that were basically dessert. Yogurt and coffee came after. I’d go back!

I stayed here two weeks ago. The guesthouse was lovely and clean, and the owners were very friendly. They made me a sandwich for my hike and even made sure I got to the collective taxi station in town on time. I’d highly recommend it.
