I came away with mixed feelings. The lodge itself is nice, the rooms are clean, and the staff are kind and helpful. But the food was catastrophic. My friends and I all got severe food poisoning after eating there, and I ended up in hospital. Guest safety needs to come first. I can't recommend eating here until the hygiene standards are fixed.

The food was delicious, and I loved that it was served buffet style. We also enjoyed a private cooking class with Chef Rhrich, and the staff even put together a special birthday surprise for me. Everyone was welcoming and attentive. The resort felt like our own little world, a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. The main pool was delightful, and the spacious yoga area looks out over a field with donkeys and sheep. There were plenty of shuttles to town and back. 10/10, I'd recommend it and will definitely return!

We spent a week here with our family and had a wonderful stay. The hospitality was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the food was great. Highly recommended!

The rooms were clean and the staff polite, but the food served here is unsafe. After eating, several guests, myself included, had severe food poisoning. I was hospitalized, and doctors confirmed it was food-borne. This points to a serious failure in hygiene and food safety. Until it's properly addressed, people should avoid eating here.

My recent stay at your lodge was one of the most special parts of my travels. It felt homely and beautiful, and the kindness and unmistakable spirit of Morocco came through in the little details. I keep thinking about the shower gel in the bathrooms. It smelled incredible, fresh, elegant and comforting. I'd be so grateful if you could help me bring a little of that feeling home, and keep Essaouira close until I can visit again. Thank you so much for your kindness. I truly hope to return one day. Warm regards, Jonathan
