La Kasbah d'Ouzoud

The garden and pool were lovely, and our room was clean. We spent a night here after seeing the falls, and the staff were great. The food could use improvement, and it would be nice to have ice available. We’d stay again.

Abdul and the rest of the staff were the highlight for us, kind, sincere, and always accommodating. My parents and I stayed two nights at Kazah d'Ouzoud and left this morning. The cabin was cozy and well maintained, and breakfast was nice and complete. We also really enjoyed the pretty garden and pool. Our favorite hotel from our time in Morocco.

The restaurant waiter was excellent and went out of his way to help us, even while the reception manager kept telling him to do as little as possible. The rest of the experience ruined what was meant to be a celebratory weekend. At check-in, reception asked us for marriage certificates, which I believe was against the law. The same person was arrogant throughout, and it felt like they were trying to get as much money from us as they could. We told the manager twice that the room had no hot water, but still had cold showers all weekend. We won't return, and we'll tell our significant networks about it. A hospitality venue needs people who are actually trained in hospitality.

The grounds are peaceful and pretty, with a nice pool, and it was lovely waking up to birdsong. The staff were caring and clearly took pride in the place. This traditional Berber Kasbah has beautiful craftsmanship throughout, and just looking at the work inside was a treat 🤩. It's a quiet spot close to the Falls, about a 10-15 minute walk through town. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. There are different options, including rooms in the Kasbah and bungalows in the garden, with twin, double, family, and accessible rooms. I only stayed one night and wish it had been longer. Two or three nights would be great if you have time to relax. A must-stay for Ouzoud Falls, highly recommended.
