Riad El Bir

The host was the best I’ve had at any B&B. Mohammed made sure we were comfortable and quickly helped with whatever we needed, always with a smile. The hospitality and attention to detail were excellent. Vicent’s riad is beautiful, serene, and quiet despite sitting in a lively city center. The historic center has plenty to see, do, and eat, and it’s just five minutes from the beach. The riad was the highlight of our trip.

The location is fantastic, and Vincent made us feel welcome from the second we arrived. He sat with us to explain the different parts of the city, drew a route to help us see the sights, and shared great food suggestions. We got tea, biscuits, and a city map when we came in, then a really good breakfast in the morning. I’d happily recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Rabat.

The Medina location and traditional decor were nice, and breakfast came with fresh juice. But one of our rooms wasn’t ready, so we had to wait until 18:30 to get in. The hot water also suddenly stopped, though they fixed it within an hour. There’s no soundproofing at all.

The owner is really kind, and we talked with him for over an hour. He speaks English very well. I also appreciated that nobody tried to sell us tours or anything else. The riad is quiet despite being in the Medina, and every room has its own look and bathroom. Laundry was free for us, too. Breakfast was a typical local spread with three kinds of bread, orange juice, tea, and coffee. Best riad I’ve stayed at so far.
