The service was completely unacceptable. This hotel was horrible, like being stuck in a bad horror movie. Please don't waste your money staying here.

The hotel canceled my prepaid reservation, which I'd made over a month earlier, with only two weeks' notice so it could host officials instead. I still haven't received a refund. This happened during the busy year-end holidays and the African Cup of Nations, and my family and I were let down. Shame on you!

The air conditioning was set to heat, and the room was 27 inside even though it was cooler outdoors. It wasn't quite what it seemed, more like a two- or three-star place.

In a double room meant for two, we got just one bath towel, with no hand towel or bath mat. The amenities were very poor, and it wasn't a good stay.

The location was nice, and the room itself was good, with a fridge. But the safe was broken and nobody helped get it fixed. Dinner was very average, with no standout dishes and little variety. Breakfast was worse. Neither meal felt like what I'd expect at a four-star hotel. The place seemed more like three stars overall.
