LAU 10 Appart Terrasse

I was nearly ready to book nine nights, but called first to check whether the room would have air conditioning, since it was explicitly listed on their website, Booking, Kayak, and elsewhere. The receptionist couldn’t confirm that I’d get a room with AC. Am I missing something? How are they allowed to advertise it that way?

The best part of my stay was the location. Ourida hotel is close to Rabat Agdal train station, banks, a market, good restaurants, and coffee shops. The building and rooms feel old and run-down, although my room was clean. Its door wouldn’t close properly, there was no heating or air conditioning, and Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby. There’s no parking, and the elevator was out during my one night on the third floor. Breakfast was okay but very basic. I’d skip it and get breakfast somewhere nearby instead. For the room and services, the price felt high. They call this a four-star hotel, but to me it’s two stars at best. I can’t recommend staying longer than one night, or really recommend it at all.

The staff were kind. The room was okay, and breakfast was decent.

The room wasn’t clean. We requested a king-size bed, but the booking only made one available.
