The reception team were helpful and gave excellent service, but the lifeguard made my stay really frustrating. A mix-up meant reception hadn't given me a pool ticket. I showed him my payment invoice and explained what happened, but he responded by insulting me for no reason. That kind of conduct from an employee is unacceptable and points to a real staff management problem.

The staff were friendly and the view was great, but the hotel itself was awful. It's filthy and old, nothing seems to work, and there was no air conditioning, towels, or breakfast. They wouldn't answer the phone either. I was meant to stay two nights, but left after six hours. I'm not usually one to complain, but this was bad enough that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It isn't a four-star hotel, and even roadside motels are much better. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

The rooms weren't clean enough, the showers were broken, and there was no room service. Breakfast was less than basic, with few choices, and it wasn't even ready when we came down in the mornings. They charged us far too much for it in pounds. The receptionist was rude and acted like they couldn't understand English instead of listening to us. The manager said refunds weren't allowed by policy, but when I asked to see the policy, they said they didn't have one. Why lie? Staff would stare and talk rudely whenever they saw us. The employees all seemed to be trying to con us. The hotel isn't worth a star, and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

It's a quiet hotel, and the bed is quite wide. Breakfast was OK. Some rooms look out over the swimming pool, and if you walk across the open area beyond it, you can see the sea, harbor, and part of the city.
