The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their service made the stay enjoyable, and I had a good experience. I'd recommend the hotel.
The good parts were the clean hotel and the breakfast. The reception service felt amateur, and their English was very basic. Our air conditioning wasn't working, but nobody came to check it. The so-called sea view looked onto a busy street and the backyards of other buildings, and there was no soundproofing. It didn't feel worth the price. If you have no other option, I'd stay just one night at most. With luggage, expect to climb stairs before reaching the lift.
I spent about 14 days here and found the place well organized, punctual, and very professional. The rooms were always clean and fairly priced. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and sociable, and quick to meet expectations. Sa'ad is a real asset and works tirelessly. I was glad to meet such nice professionals at Reception, in the Restaurant, and elsewhere. If I return to Safi, I'd stay here again. A mini refrigerator in every room would be a nice addition, along with some cereal or toast at breakfast. That would make the menu more welcoming for tourists from anywhere, and give them no reason to go elsewhere instead of staying at Riad Asfi :)
A cozy, good-value hotel with good service. The neighborhood feels safe, though the many nearby bars can make the street noisy at night.
