Breakfast was the letdown during my otherwise pleasant stay at Dar Amghar. One jam, or maybe the amelou, the traditional almond spread, had clearly gone bad and couldn't be eaten. The milk was spoiled too, even though staff said it was still within its expiry date. Milk can sour before the date, and this wasn't drinkable. I also had to insist quite a bit to get eggs with breakfast, which surprised me given the room price. The place itself is quiet, tidy, and well situated in Tafraoute, with a pleasant local feel. My room was clean and cozy, a nice spot to rest away from the busy parts of town. Staff were generally friendly. With more attention to breakfast quality, Dar Amghar could be a good budget option.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The location is good too, just a few steps from the center. Our window faced the hotel's terrace, though, so there wasn't much natural light. That could be a plus in summer.

Breakfast is basic and traditional, but enough. The reception staff speak good English, though it helps to know some basic French or bring a phrase book. I was here for a climbing trip and liked being right in town, with a chance to take in the local culture. The accommodation is simple, clean, and nice. There's technically no parking, but it isn't hard to find a dusty spot for the car overnight. If someone in a green vest comes by, 5dhm (45p) seemed to keep him happy for the day. I'll definitely come back.

The rooms were quiet and clean, and the staff were really friendly. The accommodation is lovely, with the markets just a short walk away. We'd happily stay here again.

A cool, quiet, comfortable room, good WiFi, and a lovely terrace. The people were very friendly, and the showers were as hot and strong as the coffee. Recommended!
