Surf & Travel Camp

The team made us feel like family almost immediately. Everything felt warm and genuine, and we’re so grateful for the experience. Ikram, thank you for one of the loveliest cooking classes we’ve ever had. We learned a lot about cooking and Moroccan culture. Dani and Todo run this camp with so much heart and passion, and even on departure day they went out of their way to take care of our last wishes. We were seven people, but the team still made sure we had a great time. Excursions were organized without stress, and communication throughout was clear, fair and transparent. The surfing deserves a special mention. Each day they chose the best spots for the conditions and our skill levels. The instructors were supportive, fun and motivating in and out of the water, while keeping safety and individual progress in mind. We had theory lessons, feedback after every wave, and photo sessions that we reviewed together in the evenings to talk through technique and common mistakes. The food was outstanding, authentic local cuisine and much more than just good. The chef was an amazing cook, attentive and kind. We had tea and biscuits together after each meal, which made everything feel cozy and brought everyone together. The camp is also close to the beach and well placed for exploring. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage. From the booking onwards, everything was perfect. Communication was quick, friendly and helpful. When we decided at the last minute to add another person, the team immediately found a way for us all to travel together. This was without a doubt one of our best holidays ever. We honestly couldn’t find a single thing to complain about, and can’t wait to come back. We definitely will!

The food was amazing, and they have the best cook in Taghazout. Mustafa drove the van safely and stayed very focused, and Ayoub was such a fun guy. The surf house itself was great, with excellent instructors. Abu stood out for his helpful, detailed feedback. Excellent experience.

I stayed here for two weeks in 2023, sorry this review is late. The hostel was comfortable and the food was good, but the low rating is because of Todo’s behavior toward my friend, who was staying there too. I heard he had a pattern of flirting or hooking up with women guests and then not treating them very respectfully afterward. The packages they sell are also strict. My friend and I got food poisoning, not from the hostel, and we were still charged for meals while we were sick even though we didn’t eat them.

The food was abundant, flavorful and delicious after a full day surfing, you definitely won’t go hungry. Rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the terrace was a great place to chill. Everything was organized so well that there was nothing to stress about. The instructors were friendly, approachable and patient, explaining things clearly for beginners and people refining their skills alike. Their energy and humor made every session fun. I had an amazing time, and would highly recommend it if you want to surf, relax and recharge. I’ll be back!
