Taghazout Sea Surf

The location and balcony were great, but the room was awful. It looked nothing like the photos. Our private room had no windows, and the furniture took up every bit of space, leaving nowhere to walk. The WiFi was terrible. The shower was right over the toilet, so everything got wet, and the bathroom had no door. There were stains everywhere. It was okay for the price, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location was the only good part. I found cockroaches in the room, the sheets weren’t clean and had hair on them, and the bathrooms were dirty. This was the dirtiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in, and the whole experience was disgusting.

From the minute I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. They were always friendly and helpful, whether I needed local advice or help arranging transport or tours. I had a great stay at this hostel.

The only person who was really kind was the woman at reception. The rest of the service wasn’t satisfying, and the hostel seriously let us down. Our room wasn’t cleaned once during the four days. The shutter wouldn’t close and kept flapping in the wind. The rooftop looked nothing like the photos and didn’t feel inviting or cosy. The bar shown in the pictures wasn’t there, and neither was the food service. At 8am, the common area was dirty and smelled of cold cigarette smoke. Future travelers should know what to expect.
