Camping Les Palmeraies

The staff were kind and took good care of me, and the room suited my needs perfectly. I spent two nights here and enjoyed having time to relax. The campground sits at the edge of town, just before the national park, so it’s a handy place to rest and stock up before heading into the desert, especially if you’re on a bicycle. I’d gladly recommend it.

We had a really tasty Tagine here, and the host welcomed us with tea and cookies, then offered bread and dates too. It’s a great, quiet place! I didn’t try the bathrooms, but everything else was wonderful. Thank you :)

Hamid arranged the whole trip for our group of 10, and he was reliable and helpful. We stayed two nights, both before heading to the Sahara and after returning. The rooms were basic but clean, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful. We had a great time here.

Hamid looked after us so well. My partner got a migraine, and he kindly brought her tea for the headache. Later he brought a whole cucumber and told me to slice it for her temples. He keeps the facilities in good shape, lit the fire to heat the shower water, and was always helpful. We felt at home, so thanks for such a nice stay. We arrived around midday on our bicycles, and the place was empty, probably because the staff were sleeping during Ramadan, which is understandable. We found shade behind a building, made lunch, and enjoyed the cooler air. Hamid came by later, showed us around, and offered us a very fair room price.
