Abdo and his family and crew made us feel so at home. Their food is delicious, and the whole stay was a delightful, special hideaway. Everyone went above and beyond, making Dar Talmoudi one of the most memorable parts of my Morocco trip. Abdo has worked hard to restore his family home and turn it into a truly authentic, special place.

The meals were authentic and absolutely delicious, each one a highlight. I had a wonderful stay at this remote spot in Morocco, where the stillness and beautiful views felt like a real escape. Our host went out of his way to make the visit memorable and made us feel genuinely cared for and welcome. I know I’ll come back when I return to Morocco. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, intimate cultural experience, this is a must-stop. Highly recommend!

The host was wonderful, and the food and breakfast were very good. Dar Talmoudi has beautiful, clean rooms too. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and would happily come back.

During a two-night yoga retreat at Dar Talmoudi last October, Abdo and his family were incredibly kind and hospitable. They did everything they could to keep our group comfortable and make sure we had what we needed. Abdo also took us into the desert, sharing what he knew about the land and plants. When he learned it was my birthday, he arranged a lovely surprise. I highly recommend a stay here for an authentic experience of Morocco.

While running a yoga retreat, I brought my group to Abdo and Dar Talmoudi, and they went above and beyond for us. The house is stunning, built from the ground up, and the location is just as beautiful. I’ll always remember doing yoga as the sun rose over the desert and set behind the mountains. I left a piece of my heart at Dar Talmoudi, and would recommend Abdo and his family to anyone visiting Southern Morocco.
