Harmony surf lodge

The people at Harmony Surf Lodge made the whole trip memorable. Everyone was warm, kind, generous, fun, and so friendly. I loved spending time with them and the good energy they brought. A big thank you to Hassan x2, Sarah, Celine, our lovely yoga teacher, and the chefs for looking after us ❤️ We surfed at different beaches across the four days, so each day felt new. The surfing instructors were skilled and attentive, explained things clearly, and helped me improve. With three students per teacher, I felt supported throughout the lessons. I also had a lot of fun surfing and loved how relaxing the yoga sessions were. The package covered everything, including lodging, equipment, transport, and food, so the trip was hassle-free. The meals were varied, tasty, and authentic. Our accommodation was cute, vibrant, clean, and comfortable, with daily cleaning, reliable hot water, and WiFi. My favourite spot was the rooftop, where you could watch the sunset and the waves. The beach was only a ten-minute walk away. Time flew because I was having such a great time. Harmony Surf Lodge exceeded my expectations, and I had the best time. I'd go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it for a yoga and surfing retreat in Morocco. I couldn't have asked for a better one. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

We first stayed at Harmony Surf Camp in May on a Wannasurf tour and loved it: everything was well organized, the camp was new and comfortable, the food was tasty, and the instructors were amazing. We had such a good time that we decided to return by ourselves. Sarah was one of the main reasons we came back, as we expected her to teach us again. The first three days were perfect. She's an excellent coach, careful about safety, great at explaining technique for surfers like us who aren't advanced, charismatic, and a pleasure to surf with. We strongly associated Harmony with her. Then Sarah suddenly disappeared after those three days, and we later learned she'd been fired. Things changed completely after that. Her replacement was friendly and laid back, but extremely irresponsible, which isn't acceptable in a surf instructor. He didn't explain safety rules to beginners, some of whom were surfing for the first time, but took them into the lineup on their second lesson. In one session he stayed with us for around 30 minutes, then vanished. We later realized he'd taken someone's board and gone surfing alone, leaving the group in the ocean without supervision. An instructor should be there throughout the whole lesson, teaching, watching, and making sure everyone's safe. When my boyfriend confronted him, he got defensive and acted unprofessionally. I hope management understands that people return for the people and instructors, not just a nice hotel. We won't be coming back to Harmony. We're looking for professional coaching and real progress, like we had with Sarah, and we're more than willing to pay extra for it.

I had an amazing time at the camp. Sarah and Hassan were so kind and patient, and they really know how to teach. As a beginner, I improved a lot thanks to their guidance and positive energy. Surf lessons were the best part of my trip. The place is beautiful and relaxing, with everything needed to feel comfortable, and the food was fresh, delicious, and full of Moroccan flavours. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back! 🌊🤙

The staff were wonderful, the rooms were clean, the garden and camp were nicely laid out, and the food was good and varied. Everything was organized smoothly, including the transfers. When we had a medical issue, the staff helped right away and made arrangements for us. Still, I'm giving it three stars because the atmosphere was completely wrong for us. A group of 15 or more people were there to party, with loud music and drinking day and night. It was exhausting for those of us who came to surf. The website makes it sound like a relaxed surf camp, but it felt more like a party hostel. Management should decide which kind of place they want to be and set expectations accordingly.
