The staff were all kind and respectful, which was the only pleasant part. That alone shouldn't cost 100. We went to this spa expecting something simple and nice. I didn't expect much from the hammam, but the massage was disappointing. The therapist didn't work both sides evenly, and mostly just slid their hands over my skin without much technique or pressure. We'd asked for medium pressure, but there was barely any, not enough to feel relaxing. The bathrobe smelled and felt damp, and the slippers were oily, so comfort and hygiene need attention too. The service didn't match the price. For half the cost, you can get a much better massage even in countries where things cost more. I hope they improve consistency, pressure technique, and basic cleanliness.

We chose the Duo Hammam and massage, and it was absolutely amazing. The riad is beautiful and calm, a lovely place to unwind, with a peaceful, authentic feel from the moment we arrived. Everything was A1, professional, attentive, and welcoming. The hammam and massage were so relaxing and left us feeling refreshed. I 100% recommend it if you're after an authentic Moroccan hammam in a serene setting. A wonderful spa experience!

The location made it easy to explore, with everything we wanted to see just a stroll away. We spent afternoons on the roof terrace with a glass of wine and stunning views across the old city. The rooms were lovely, clean, and spacious. We had three fabulous nights here in April during a seven day trip around Morocco. From the moment we arrived, Olivier and the team made all of us feel welcome. Thanks for a great time, John and Alison. We'd highly recommend staying here.

We'd never tried a couples hammam before, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a lovely, relaxing experience. Riad Al Ksar & Spa has stunning decor and an authentic feel once you find it. I can see how the Medina location might be a little tricky for some, but Google Maps was accurate and we found it without trouble. We booked on WhatsApp about three days ahead. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a changing room with lockers, then given robes and slippers before going into the private hammam area. My partner wore swim trunks and I wore bikini bottoms, which worked perfectly. Fatima was a fantastic therapist. She gently explained each part of the hammam, where to sit or stand, and made sure we were comfortable. The scrub was thorough but not harsh. I was worried it might be too rough on my chest because my skin is very sensitive, but it was completely fine and surprisingly relaxing. We followed it with a massage at the medium pressure we'd requested, which was spot on. We finished with delicious peppermint tea on the beautiful rooftop terrace. I'd definitely recommend this calm, authentic experience to couples trying a traditional Moroccan hammam for the first time. It was a special part of our stay in Marrakech.

Don't let the setting put you off. The spa is in a very strange spot, in what seems like the most run down part near the Medina, but inside it's pleasant and the staff are pleasant too. It was relaxing, and you get what you pay for. I'd recommend the couples package to everyone. I also loved the spa's response to Fatima's one star review. Read it again if you get a chance, it's great entertainment!
