The food was freshly cooked to order, tasty, generously portioned, and very fairly priced. We were pleasantly surprised by the value, especially staying in a little house or cabin. The AC was old but did enough to cool the room. At 38 degrees, the pool was a welcome extra, though the pool and surrounding furniture could use maintenance. The friendly young man on staff was always helpful and greeted us with a warm smile, which made us feel at home. We'd definitely come back when we're in the area.

The food was the highlight for me, easily the best meals of my trip, with lovely presentation and rich Moroccan flavors. La Tour de Toile sits in quiet countryside near Taroudant, and the restaurant and rooms have a magical feel, with candlelit tables and views of the landscape. The owners were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. Staying and dining here is an experience I'll remember. Thank you milouda, abbelwahb!

It may be a bit of a tourist trap, but the food and service were phenomenal. The place is off the beaten path and very quiet, and we had it all to ourselves. The cats were really friendly too.

The rooms were beautifully done and comfortable, and the grounds were well kept, with a pool. They also handle special requests if you give them enough notice. The service was great and the food incredible. I don't understand Google's two-star rating, this place is truly wonderful.

The hosts were calm and friendly, and breakfast was included. Everything was very clean, with a great Moroccan feel, and the pool and garden were a lovely surprise. We were impressed as soon as we arrived, especially given the rather ugly area around this hidden place in the middle of nowhere. The map brought us nearby but not to the exact destination, so don't be surprised if you have to find it from there.
