Our room opened onto the patio and was spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and nicely decorated in warm colors. The accommodation looks even better in person than in the pictures, with a lot of taste. The staff were exceptionally kind and professional. We enjoyed a very good breakfast and tasty dinner. One of the nicest places in Morocco, at a very fair price.

We had reservations about eating as vegetarians, but the food was excellent. Fresh dishes were prepared each day, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Moroccan flavors. The hammam and massage were a wonderfully relaxing treat too. Le Palais Oumensour is right in the heart of Taroudant but tucked away from the bustle. The riad is spotless, with roomy spaces and peaceful, well-kept gardens. The staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. A couple of things in our two rooms could be better. The shower fittings are quite outdated and could use an upgrade. The new LG air conditioning units didn’t cool the rooms effectively, so the summer nights were uncomfortable. They seemed either too small for the rooms or poorly installed. Even with those issues, we had an excellent stay and would absolutely come back.

The place is nicely maintained and has a good atmosphere. The waitress was very pleasant and seemed to love her job. I had the best mojito I’ve found in Taroudant.

The service was excellent, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. The hammam and massage were very good. Unfortunately, neither the pool nor the jacuzzi was heated.
