I spent 1000 dirhams for a couple of bug bites, a bad night's sleep, and no dinner. They still charged the full 300 dirhams for the meal. Two stars feels generous for my experience. The place looks lovely, including the first room I was given, and the man who seemed to be running everything was great, though clearly embarrassed. He opened up in the morning, served dinner, and closed up, while the owner mostly paraded around. I left dinner uneaten. For 300 dirhams, the three courses included a cold “moroccan salad,” watery microwaved eggplant, and a meatball tajine with barely cooked tomato and meatballs that fell apart when I touched them. The dessert was awful, some hot, sour orange juice with cinnamon. It was the worst meal I had in Morocco. I asked for soup and was glad to get something warm. At bedtime, my linens were dirty, stained, damp-feeling, and had hairs on them. I complained and got another room. Its windows were open, and the bed was still dirty, though there were no hairs. The room began to smell bad overnight. I could see why they keep the windows open.

The cook was friendly and made really good crepes, and we liked the pretty dinner area and pool. There isn't much to do nearby, though they offer quad tours. We didn't try one because we had a small child in our group. We enjoyed our stay. We were a little unsure at first because there seemed to be mold in the bathroom, but they let us change rooms. After that, everything was fine.

Peaceful and surrounded by greenery, this little hotel is a lovely place to get away. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the pool area was a nice place to unwind. Everything was well cared for, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great choice for a quiet break with a good pool.

It feels like a real oasis in the city, with an authentic atmosphere, amazing rooms, friendly staff, and safe parking.
